Our History
OUR HISTORY.
Blessed Brigida Morello of Jesus, the foundress of the Ursuline sisters of Mary Immaculate, was born on 17th June 1610, at Rapallo, Italy. Both her parents came from noble families, noted for their religious and civic spirit. They instilled in her profound sense of God. From her childhood she loved to contemplate Christ crucified.
Blessed Brigida was an exemplary, charismatic, courageous and God oriented woman. She was aware of the discrimination against women and the plight of young girls, who were denied of formal education. She decided to open a boarding school for girls. She founded the congregation “Ursulines of Mary Immaculate in the year 1649 to give Christian education to the youth. She promoted the dignity of women and educating them to be conscious of their dignity, guiding them to live a life of Christian virtues.
The Ursuline sisters today follow the footsteps of their foundress. They are engaged in educating the young specially girls, uplifting the exploited, reaching out to the less privileged economically deprived, the sick and the old.
Our environment
To ensure a conducive environment for our students, we have planted trees and made flower gardens all around the school to give the ambiance the students need to feel confortable and ready to learn

A school with great facilities like Brigida Morello, gives students the opportunity to get great learning with the right facilities both in Labs, Library and infrustructure. We have ensuured this is provided for with the right facilities as recommended by the Ministry to ensure great learning.
